Women at RWTH Aachen University

Women are as professors in the areas mathematics, computer science, natural science and technology still under-represented. One of the main concerns of the RWTH Aachen University is therefore to increase the number of female professors in these subjects. By many activities, for example as part of the future concept the proportion of female professors could be increased in the past five years from five to 13 percent at the RWTH Aachen University. In order to attract women to mathematics, computer science, natural science and technology, appropriate training, support activities and development opportunities must be identified. Initiated by the RWTH Cluster of Excellence and Graduate Schools are now female professors in the natural sciences and engineering presented.
