Strategy Workshop February 2009
Aim of the second strategy workshop was the creation of a common understanding concerning the maturity of technological solutions within the sub-projects. Hence the feedback from the Scientific Advisory Board and the Industrial Advisory Board was integrated into the strategy refinement of the cluster.
Hannover Messe, 20. - 24. April 2009
Around 210 000 visitors from over 80 countries attended the 2009 Hannover Fair.
The focus of the fair was the economic crisis. The topic was not the cause and course of the crisis, but approaches to the solution. The Cluster of Excellence make a contribution to this solution with its topics.

Colloquium for employees, July 2009
The central objective of the colloquium for employees in July 2009 was to figure out possibilities of measuring the contribution of each sub-project and Integrative Cluster Domain to the resolution of the polylemma of production technology. After a plenary presentation of key performance indicators on the level of the entire cluster, key performance indicators on the level of single projects were presented and discussed among the cluster members.
